What vegan supplements are your favorite Michelle? I really haven’t found one I love yet and end up taking separate supplements.

This a great vid! I’ve been vegan for 1 1/2 years now, but have been feeling a bit tired and have rings under my eyes. I started taking a B complex and iorn supplements a couple weeks ago, and have been feeling a bit better, but not 100%. I’m probably vit. D deficient since it’s winter, but vit D3 isn’t vegan.
Any other suggestions? Or how long it takes to get full effects? (I know it depends on how deficient you were to begin with)
    Thanks!

I plan on reading it too. With tea and coffee, it’s recommended that you drink them at least on hour before or after your meals so they don’t interfere with nutrient absorption. I’ve read this and this has been recommended by two different naturopathic practitioners (one also being a medical doctor) that I’ve seen.

Great information! I never knew that drinking tea w/ your meals interferes with iron absorption. I drink tea w/ almost every meal, so maybe I’ll consider altering my habits there. I’m actually reading Jack Norris’ book right now.

  23. Mike Hudson says:

FITTODO subscribes to a point system – a nutritional philosophy based on calories. Simply put, this means calories in versus calories out – if the number of calories out is greater than the number of calories in, you lose weight. It’s a long, slow progression, not a race.

    Thanks
